During harvest, tea farmers will spend all day in the fields. From early in the morning, to early in the afternoon, all they do is pick tea.
To aid in this task, tea farmers developed an interesting tool. A razor blade, strapped to the index finger. With this tool, a farmer can pick faster, and without the risk of damaging the leaves.
